The open source alternative to Jira and Confluence
Ledgerline replaces Jira and Confluence with issues, boards, sprints and a wiki you own. Atlassian switched AI training on by default below Enterprise in Aug 2026 and is winding down Data Center. Run Ledgerline yourself for free, or let us host it in one click.

Why switch
Open source core under AGPL. Your data sits in plain Postgres on servers you choose.
Your issues and pages never train anyone's AI, ours included. AI features are opt in.
Keyboard first, Cmd K everywhere, no plugin marketplace to wade through.
The product
Keyboard first issues with priorities, labels, assignees, estimates, parents and links. Drag cards across a board, filter with a JQL style query, and press Cmd K to jump anywhere or create anything.

Built for agents
The free core ships an MCP server with tools to search, create, move and comment on issues and write wiki pages. Agents get the same roles and permissions as people, and every change is in the history. Hosted agent actions are 2p each.

Yes. Issues, boards, sprints, the wiki, the importers, roles and the MCP server are all in the free self-host core. Paid plans add hosting, private AI and support, not the basics.
We run Ledgerline for you, back it up daily and keep it updated, for up to 10 users at £49 a month. It includes no AI. Add Private AI seats if you want AI features.
£12 per user a month with a 3 seat minimum. Each user gets 500 AI actions a month on our smaller model for ticket writing, triage and sprint notes. Your data is never used for training.
Every API or MCP action is 2p, including AI actions on our smaller model. AI actions on the larger model are 25p each. You see usage before you are billed.
Yes. Everything exports, the database is plain Postgres, and the core is open source, so you can always run it yourself.
Ledgerline is in alpha. The live demo runs on example data, and paid checkout runs in Stripe test mode until launch.
